We invite you to register for the 4th European Congress of Medical Physics, which will be held in Dublin, Ireland from 17-20 August 2022.

Due to popular demand the abstract submission deadline has been extended until midnight 11th March 2022!!

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

All accepted abstracts will be published in a supplement of EFOMP’s journal, the European Journal of Medical Physics (EJMP), at the end of July/early August 2022 before the Congress.

For the ECMP 2022, EJMP will publish a Focus Issue with up to 40 full papers selected from the conference contributions. The contributions will be selected by the Focus Issue’s Guest Editors which will be nominated by EJMP’s Editor-in-Chief.

The final manuscripts will then undergo a full peer-review process. The Focus Issue will be published online in April 2023, with deadline for submission of papers on 31 December 2022. The papers of this Focus Issue will be free to download from the EJMP journal website throughout 2023

The draft EFOMP Digital Breast tomosynthesis Quality Control Protocol will be illustrated: from X-ray tube to image receptor, automatic exposure control, image quality tests and dosimetry. There will be opportunities for discussion and feedback. This feedback will be taken into account in the final version of the protocol.

Three seasoned experts will share their knowledge on the subject related to these problems – equipment related issues, personnel dosimetry, and leadership – and will coach the participants in finding solutions by applying deeper knowledge.

EFOMP’s Examination Board (EEB) offers the European Diploma of Medical Physics (EDMP) and the European Attestation Certificate to those Medical Physicists that have reached the Medical Physics Expert level (EACMPE).
